Is it hockey season already? Tim Tebow, that snuck up on me.

Sorry, Gator fans, Notsodamus didn't mean to take his name in vain.

Anyway, Barry Melrose thinks the Chicago Blackhawks will triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers in the Stanley Cup Finals. Let's see how that works out for him. Notsodamus has always though that Barry Melrose and Dennis Franchione are similar coaches, since they both rode a superstar player to establish themselves in their own right. For Franchione, it was LaDainian Tomlinson. Melrose's superstar was none other than Wayne Gretzky. Now, they are both broadcasters, Melrose as ESPN's hockey analyst, and Franchione with ESPN Radio calling football games. Usually, when someone becomes a broadcaster, it is because they aren't good at their previous job anymore. I think that Melrose hangs around because he has a mullet and wears pinstripe suits. Notsodamus wishes that he could get ahead in his chosen profession with this formula.
